Sofonesia Batch Image Resizer is a simple and compact tool designed to help you easily and quickly resize multiple images at the same time.
There's nothing fancy or complicated about this tool. It's in fact so simple and lightweight that it even lacks the basic option to let you select individual photos for the resizing task. It can only process the images contained in a folder, all at once. Therefore, you can only select entire directories as the source with the images to be resized.
In my opinion, this might be a small disadvantage as not always all the photos that you want to resize are neatly organized and placed in the same folder. At least, it lets you select a different folder for saving the resulting files. Anyway, since it's also so simple and lightweight, even complete beginners can use it without any problem.
It lets you resize photos of many formats but it doesn't support any kind of conversion, so the output images will have the same file format as the input ones. However, during resizing, it will automatically crop parts from photos to enhance their quality.
To sum it all up, even if it's free, simple, and easy-to-use, Sofonesia Batch Image Resizer still doesn't look like to me like a worthy app to download and install when you need to resize photos. It just lacks too many options that could prove important to any resizing task.
